Blue Palawan International Kiteboard Open – Day 2

What was originally expected to be a lay day with the mornings light forecast surprisingly turned into more action for day 2 of the Blue Palawan International Kiteboard Open.

With the wind filling in mid afternoon, the remaining 3 heats for features semi finals got underway. Starting with the men’s third and final heat of the round, light but steady wind held consistent to see Brandon Scheid, Sam Medysky, Noe Font, Axel Tack, Tobias Holter, Eric Rienstra, Sam Light, Tom Court and Craig Cunningham make their way to the finals.

On the women’s side of things it was Julia Castro, Sensi Graves, Victoria Soloveykina, Karolina Winkowska, Colleen Carroll, Therese Taabbel, Malin Amle and Manuela Jungo who would continue on to the finals.

Tomorrow’s competition will resume with men’s and women’s features finals followed by beginning rounds of the kicker portion of the event. With a great forecast on the horizon, everyone is looking forward to another great day of action at the beautiful Blue Palawan Resort.
