John Bryja is one of North America’s original watermen. He’s the founding editor of the original kitesurfing publication SBC Kiteboard and Kitesurfing Magazine. He was at the helm of Windsport Magazine for more than a decade. He currently splits his time on the water between foiling and kiteboarding. He likes to keep it real, never dumbs it down, and always tries to be inclusive.

Dave Amos joined the team after 12 years as the Art Director of SBC Kiteboard, and SBC Wakeboard magazines. A life long skateboard and snowboarder, Dave Amos brings an action sports sensibility to his design work that perfectly compliments Kitesurfing and Wingsurfing Magazine’s clean design asthetic.

TEST EDITOR

Shane has been doing head-to-head gear tests and writing about them since 2001. No one has more experience testing wind sport’s gear than Shane. As a result, his reviews are the most detailed and accurate tests available anywhere. His years of experience allow him to compare current models to previous designs, and spot trends in the industry before others.
