A beloved member of the Slingshot & Ride Engine Family and the Windsports industry, Alex Bloechinger, is in dire need of our help. Last Friday, he endured a devastating kiteboarding accident. According to his doctors, it is nothing short of a miracle that he is still with us. His surgery is scheduled for Today (Monday, March 25th) to begin the long and arduous process of rebuilding his body.
For nearly two decades, Alex has been an indispensable member of the Slingshot & Ride Engine design teams. He has not only contributed to shaping our products but has also played a crucial role in defining our company culture. Seeing him in his current state is truly heartbreaking, and we are eagerly anticipating his progress through these challenging times.
With Alex’s mother by his side, facing the heartbreak of losing her husband and another son in the past two years, we are rallying together to raise funds. These funds will help alleviate the immense financial burden of Alex’s extensive medical treatment and ongoing care throughout his difficult journey to recovery.
