In this video recap, we had the chance to speak with Raphael Salles, the owner of F-One, at the company’s booth during the show. Raphael introduced an exciting new innovation in their kite design, which made it onto our top 10 list of new products. One of the most striking aspects is the bold and unique color pattern, achieved through a cutting-edge manufacturing process. Instead of using pre-colored fabrics, F-One prints colors directly onto white cloth panels, making the process more sustainable and reducing the need for stocking multiple colors.
Raphael also explained a key technological advancement: the seams on the Leading Edge of the kite are welded instead of sewn, resulting in a stiffer, more responsive feel while still using standard polyester cloth. This method, combined with the precise alignment of graphics from the canopy to the struts and Leading Edge, allows for stunning custom designs, even integrating user-specific graphics.
For now, this construction method is limited to two models, including the Bandit, due to production capacity. However, the technology is expected to expand to more models in the future.
In addition to the unique look and build, Raphael highlighted the high performance of the new Trigger kite. Designed for both double and single loops, it combines the ability to achieve significant height with user-friendly handling. Raphael emphasized that while the Trigger is built to win competitions, its primary focus is on delivering an enjoyable experience for everyday riders.
F-One’s commitment to innovation and sustainability, along with the addition of top rider Jimmy joining the team, puts the brand in a strong position to continue its success in competitions and beyond. Keep an eye out for exciting results in future events!
