Slingshot Sports is pleased to announce the addition of Brandon Scheid, a notable figure in wind and watersports industries, to the newly created role of Product Tester and Tech Representative.
Brandon started on October 7th, with the 7-Nation crew at headquarters in Hood River, Oregon. 7-Nation owns and operates the subsidiaries, Ride Engine and Slingshot Sports.
Scheid brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and clout across all level of the industry to the Slingshot Team. Brandon, developed his skill set from years of experience in all aspects of the kiteboarding industry. His internal decade long role at another brand had him handling a multitude of tasks. (Photoshoots, design, testing, ad creation, Marketing, demo/event master, and much more.) Prior to that critical role, Brandon honed his kite skills as an elite level kiteboarding instructor for nine seasons at Real Watersports. His knowledge of the full spectrum of watersport consumers and his ability to draw from a deep bag of skill sets makes Brandon a perfect choice for his new position at 7-Nation.

Brandon will be taking the key roles of Product Tester and Tech Rep and combining them into one seamless position. These two roles will see Brandon straddling the worlds of product testing and development as well as Marketing. This essential bridge will help take future products and hone them into the desired results while translating those developments into something that the general consumer/kiteboarding market can easily understand.

Brandon will hit the ground running and be involved in all of the product testing for the vast variety of 7-Nation products. (Kite, Foil, Wing, Wake). Additionally, Brandon will lend his creative talents to the Design, Marketing, and Kiteboarding teams.
