KOTA 2022 - The New Era of Big Air

KOTA 2022 – The New Era of Big Air

With extreme conditions and a fleet of exceptional young talent, the 2022 Red Bull King of the Air was a powder keg waiting to explode with an astonishing show of the world’s best big air kiteboarding. For the first time ever, Timo Boersema and Cohan van Dijk embarked on their KOTA journey while Stig Hoefnagel returned for a second year in a row – all ready to take on whatever Mother Nature had in store.

Go behind-the-scenes and get to know these three top big air riders as they prepare and compete in the KOTA competition. Watch as they push themselves past their limits through some of the most extreme Cape Town conditions.

The Naish Pivot excelled throughout KOTA without needing to be switched out for a different model like many other kites in the competition – a testament to its versatility and performance at the highest level. The new Pivot is out! Shop now at
