Yesterday we had a mad day with Levante blasting over 40+ knots. We started the day with 50% freestyle, 50% big air format but as we climbed up the ladder, the wind got stronger so judges decided to run 100% big air as simply conditions were too extreme to do unhooked tricks. This is exactly why GKA has introduced a Mixed Format where depending on the conditions riders would adapt and choose their tricks accordingly. Watch this video to see what happened on the second day of the event.
We’ll be meeting back here early Friday morning with a first possible start scheduled at 10:00 am (CET) sharp, rested, and ready for another day of nuclear action.
